Grainha wines have a rich bouquet, are complex on the nose, concentrated, well structured in the mouth and have good aging potential. What makes these wines so unique? From the grape seed we can extract proteins, condensed tannins, aromatic extracts, ethanol and lignin, that are essential compounds for a balanced wine, in terms of its colour, aroma, body and longevity.
Late Bottled Vintage from Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo has a modern style in which the aromas of the blackberries and blueberries combine with a succulent structure, fluid density, imposing gravity and a beautiful balance between alcohol and sweetness. It is an LBV that has a long and precise finish, with a lot of tension. As an unfiltered Port, it has excellent capacity for ageing in the bottle.
